Transmitter / Pager Learning.
The 825K can be programmed to recognize up
to 4 remote control units. To add a pager or transmitter to your system, en-
sure that the vehicle’s
engine is not running
and the
825K is disarmed
and
then follow these steps:
(1) IGN ON.
(2) Press and hold the Program Switch for about
6 seconds
, and release
the button when the siren chirps 4 times.
(3) Press and hold the
and
buttons until the siren chirps.
Repeat step (3) above for each remote you wish to learn. This learn routine
will end after 6 seconds of inactivity or after you turn off the IGN.
TIP: If more than one LCD pager is used, only the pager which sent the last
control signal will be automatically updated with system status information.
NOTE: Activating this learn routine will erase all previously learned re-
motes! You must re-learn all the remotes you intend to use with the system.
The feature set of the 825K can be easily customized via the Program Switch
and the Programmable Features Menu shown on page 12.
Programmable Features Menu
NOTE: Before changing menu settings, read the feature explanations on
pages 13-14 and ask your dealer if there are features you should not change.
To restore all settings to the factory default
, perform the following steps:
(1) IGN ON. (engine must not be running)
(2) Press Program Switch 10 times.
(3) IGN OFF.
(Siren chirps 10 times.)
(4) Press Program Switch 1 time.
(Siren chirps 1 time.)
(5) Press the button.
(Note: vehicle lights will flash 5 times after set-
ings are reset, and
you must then re-learn all your transmitters
.)
To enter to Programmable Features Menu
, ensure the engine not running
and follow these steps:
(1) IGN ON.
(2) Press Program Switch 6 times.
(Status LED lights during each press)
(3) IGN OFF.
(Siren chirps 6 times.)
(4) Press Program Switch according to the Programmable Features Menu
on the next page—
each press followed by “line number” siren chirps.
