(12) Choice of
Auto Rearm
or
Auto Arm
or both.
See page 3 for details.
(13)
Silent
: If a door is open when arming, the door and shock sensor inputs
will be silently bypassed (no chirps) 3 seconds later. (Sensor input by-
passed so siren won’t be triggered when door closes.) Door will
automatically be enabled when closed, and siren will chirp once—
shock
sensor will remain bypassed
. Re-enable shock sensor by pressing &
buttons at the same time for more than 2 seconds (and then release)
—
siren will chirp once and LCD pager will play a melody
.
3sec
: Same operation as “
Silent
” except chirps are enabled during bypass:
if door is open for more than 3sec. after arming, siren will chirp 4 times.
BLK/WHT Output
: This wire can disable factory alarms for remote
start. This BLK/WHT wire always sends a 200msec. (–) GND pulse when
the remote start sequence begins, regardless of the program setting; and
if the first crank attempt doesn’t start the engine, the BLK/WHT wire will
feed (–) GND continuously until remote start shuts down. The “
ON
”
setting means the BLK/WHT wire will send (–) GND continuously while
the system is armed.
(14) Controls how long the dome light should stay on after system is disarmed.
Dome light automatically turns off when IGN is turned on.
(15) Determines how long the engine should continue to run after IGN key is
turned off. The Status LED will turn red while the Turbo Timer feature is
active, and the vehicle lights will flash. Note that if the engine
stalls
during
a Turbo Timer operation, the vehicle light flash will stop, but the Status
LED will remain red—also, the remote start system and Program Switch
feature selection will be disabled until the Turbo Timer sequence is fini-
shed and the LED turns off.
(16) Use the
Continuous
setting for most sirens, and use
Pulsed
if connect-
ed to the vehicle’s horn. Select the temperature system (
°C
or
°F
) that
you want to have displayed on the LCD pager.
