While the 825K is disarmed, you can automatically pop your trunk lid (if so
installed) by pressing the
button for more than 2 seconds. Hazard/parking
lights will flash 3 times, and the LCD pager will beep 3 times. The
icon
will appear on the pager when the trunk finally opens.
While the 825K is armed, you can still pop the trunk — the sensor and trunk
inputs will be bypassed and the trunk will then open. To re-enable the sensor
input, press the and
buttons until you hear 1 siren chirp.
Remote Trunk Release (CHANNEL#1)
The 825K can be installed to control a variety of functions in your vehicle from
the convenience of your transmitter or pager—
such as the headlights, power
antenna, stereo system, neon illumination strips, power seats, etc.
See line 4
on page 12 for details on the four output settings available.
To activate Channel#2
, simply press and hold the
button for more than
2 seconds. The siren will chirp
once
and the hazard/parking lights will flash
once
when the output is initiated. The LCD pager will produce 1 beep after
you release the
button. Channel#2 may be used in either armed or dis-
armed modes.
Programmable CHANNEL#2 Output
If you do not intend to use the “2-step Door Unlock” feature
(see page 4),
the
825K can be programmed to produce a Channel#3 output to control a variety
of vehicle functions. See page 12, line 5 for the four output settings avail-
able.
To activate Channel#3, press the button for more than 2 seconds. The
siren will chirp
three times
and hazard/parking lights will flash
three times
when the output is initiated. The LCD pager will produce 3 beeps after you
release the button. Channel#3 may be used in either armed or disarmed
modes.
Programmable CHANNEL#3 Output
Your 825K system can silently alert you to threats made against your vehicle
without blasting the siren. Simply press the
button to mute the siren—
the 825K will automatically arm if you activate Stealth Alert while disarmed.
When in Stealth Alert mode, the pager will display the
icon and produce
a long beep sound. To enable the siren again, press
again, and the pager
will play a melody and display the
icon.
