8. TRANSPORTING & STORAGE 

 

8.1 Keep the generator far away from spill fuel in transportation, for oil mist or 

spill fuel is very easy to burn. 

 

8.2 Preparation for generator long term storage: 

1. Be sure the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust. 

2. Drain off the fuel.

3. Charge the battery every two months. 

4. Replace the engine oil. 

5. Remove  the  spark  plug  and  pour  about  a  tablespoon  of  clean  engine  oil  into  the 

cylinder. Crank the engine several revolutions to distribute the oil, and then re-install 

the spark plug.
