Connecting the Test lead (TL21-TOS)
The test lead is used in the TC measurement.
The test lead (TL21-TOS) has a feature for selecting the measurement category (CAT II or
CAT III/IV) as shown in the figure below. Since the measurement category of the TOS3200 is
CAT II, the test lead can be used in either condition shown in the figure below. The included
alligator clips can be attached in the CAT II condition.
The red or black test lead is used separately according to the type of TC to be measured. The
red and black test leads are connected to measurement terminals A and B, respectively.

Electric shock may occur. Do not touch the tip
of the lead while using the test lead.

While pressing the latch with a pointed object (for example,
the tip of the other test lead), slide the red or black part to
select the measurement category.
Before using the test lead, check that the latch
is locked in the correct position.
