Setting a GPIB Address
Be sure to set address before connecting the external computer.
The address is set in the five DIP switches (ADRS ) of the GPIB
switch. Indication of 16 • 4 • 1 stands for 16 8 4 2 1. The address is
specified by the sum of values indicated for the DIP switches set to
ON (upperside). When all five DIP switches are set to OFF, the
address value is 0. For example, to set the address to 6, set the DIP
switch indicated as 4 and the DIP switch indicated as • (=2)
between 4 and 1 to ON to set 6=4+2.
Turn the meter power on again. The address set becomes valid after
power on.
