User’s Manual

External Control

The following functions can be controlled and monitored from an external device using the SIGNAL I/O 
connector.

• Starting measurements
• Monitoring measurements
• Monitoring judgment results
• Recalling memories

External Control Settings

Configure the external control settings.

Trigger source (TRIG)

Select whether to use the internal signal or an external signal for the measurement start trigger. To manu-
ally apply trigger signals, select EXTERNAL. You can apply triggers through the SIGNAL I/O connector 

(p. 33)

 or the front panel 

(p. 29)

.

Press MEASURE.

Press TRIG (F3) to select the value.

The value switches each time you press the key.

This completes the setting.
