User’s Manual

BIM1000 Series

Installation and Preparation

Checking Whether the Power Is On or Off

Turning the power on

When you turn the power on, the product starts in the same state as it was in the last time the POWER 
switch was turned off.
Warm up the product for at least 30 minutes before starting measurements.

Check that the power cord is connected properly.

Turn the POWER switch (   ) on.

A startup screen appears showing the firmware version.

Then, a measurement screen appears.

The power is now on.

Turning the power off

The panel settings that were in use immediately before the power was turned off are saved. When you 
change a setting, do not turn the power off immediately. Wait at least 5 seconds before doing so. Other-
wise, the setting may not be saved.
