The clock melodies
The melody chime feature of your clock offers playing the following three melodies:
Westminster
This famous clock melody was written by George Frideric Handel (1685 to 1759). Everybody associates
the melody with the chimes of the Victoria Clock Tower of the Houses of Parliament (better known as "Big
Ben"). Originally the chimes come from the university church St. Mary's the Great in Cambridge.
Eine kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music)
Melody from the serenade in G-major (KV 525) "Eine kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Night Music)” composed
by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 bis 1791) in 1787

Vogelfänger (Bird Hunter)
The bird hunter melody comes from the aria of Papageno "Der Vogelfänger bin ich ja (The bird hunter am
I)” and is part of the opera "Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute)" (KV 620) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
(1756 to 1791) first performed in Vienna 1791.
