Parameter
Description
Sample Rate
The sample rate of the waveform. The available sample rate depends on the
M8195A mode.
Repeat Interval
The total length in seconds of the generated radar signal.
Pulse Width
Rise Time
Fall time
Initial Delay
The pulse amplitude for the segment generated are controlled by these
parameters as shown in the graph below.
Pulse Shape
Controls the shape of the rising and falling edges of the pulse amplitude.
Modulation on Pulse For linear FM, select either
increasing
,
falling
,

, or
inverted V
for the frequency
modulation profile.
Frequency Span (Hz) Sets the bandwidth of the FMCW pulse.
Frequency Offset (Hz) Sets the center frequency of the FMCW pulse.
Apply Correction
If calibration had been performed, (see
“Calibration and Amplitude Correction”
on page 37) IQTools is able to pre-distort the generated signal to compensate
for the amplitude response of the system. Check this box to apply the
pre-distortion. Pressing the
Show Corr.
button displays the system response if
calibration has been performed.
