Features Menu
The Features Menu is accessed by holding the
UP and DOWN buttons
at the same time when the processor is
first powered up. Keep holding the
UP/DOWN buttons
through the INTERNAL SELF TEST screen, until the
processor displays a screen similar to the following:

Use the
UP/DOWN buttons
to highlight the desired option. Press the
START button
to access the desired
option. Press the
STOP button
to return to normal operation.
Traceability
This setting controls the Pipe/Fitting T
raceability functions. Values are “O
FF
”, “O
N
” or “O
PT
”
:
•
“O
FF
” disables the
Pipe/Fitting Traceability function.
•
“O
N
” enables
the Pipe/Fitting Traceability function. The machine WILL NOT allow a fusion to
proceed unless at least one (1) traceability barcode is scanned.
•
“O
PT
” (Optional) enables the
Pipe/Fitting Traceability function but will allow a fusion to proceed if
the operator decides not to scan a traceability barcode.
When Option 1 is highlighted, press the
START button
to select it. Use the
UP/DOWN buttons
to toggle
through available Pipe/Fitting Traceability function values. When the desired value is displayed, press the
START button
to save.
PIPE AND FITTING TRACEABILITY WILL ONLY APPLY TO FUSIONS DONE IN BARCODE MODE.
