1.3 Intended use
The D3­DP 3xx/x was developed as supply module for the KEBA­system
with at least one D3­DA 3xx/x and a appropriate mains filter for controlling
and regulating drives. In motor operation mode the supply mode obtains en­
ergy of the mains power supply and provides it to the connected modules via
the intermediate circuit.
The D3­DP 3xx/x may only be used for the types of use described in the
technical descriptions and in compliance with described technical general
conditions. The D3­DP 3xx/x may only be used in conjunction with recom­
mended/ approved third­party equipment/installations.
The D3­DP 3xx/x has been developed, manufactured, tested and docu­
mented in accordance with the appropriate directives and standards. There­
fore, the products do not pose any danger to the health of persons or a risk
of damage to other property or equipment under normal circumstances, pro­
vided that the instructions and safety precautions are properly observed.
The intended use also includes the attention of the notes and informations
described in this document.
Requirements for a correct operation:
● Correct projecting of the system
● Correct and complete installation of all components in compliance with
the specified conditions.
● Correct and complete wiring of all components
● Compliance of requirements of Machinery Directive and if necessary lo­
cal laws for a complete maschine
Information
Compliance with EMC directives can only be assumed if chapter 14 Decla­
ration of conformity and the notes about connections and wiring were ob­
served, and cables and auxiliary components are used according to 15.2
Connection technology and dimensioning of the mains filter was imple­
mented.
1.4 Notes on this document
This manual is an integral part of the product. It is to be retained over the en­
tire life cycle of the product and should be forwarded to any subsequent
owners or users of the product.
This documentation must be legible and available to the specified persons
and must be read and understood from them.
