Setting up a basic link

It is highly recommended that all equipment be bench tested before being installed on
site.

You will need:

4 x straight through Ethernet cables.

Note:

It is recommended that for bench testing Host and Client units be placed face

downwards with a distance of 5

–

10m between them to avoid saturation.

The following sections deal with setting up basic links for the three different firmware
versions:
