3 Device upgrade
3.15 Finalize the installation
Calibrate the device and install the device covers to finalize the upgrade.
1.
Connect the mains cord, Ethernet cable, exposure switch cable and optional auxiliary cables to the
carriage.
2.
Start the imaging software and prepare it for use.
3.
Power the device on. Power switch is found at the behind the carriage.
4.
Complete the device initialization by pressing the
HOME
button on the patient positioning panel
when indicator light starts blinking in blue. The device GUI also indicates when HOME button can
be pressed.
NOTICE!
The first start-up may take a while as the new i2000 circuit board is updated and
synchronized with the device.
5.
GUI:
Check that the GUI shows CEPH imaging modality. This means that the device identifies the
new CEPH arm and that it is functional.
NOTICE!
If the new imaging modality is not shown on the GUI, check that all device cables
are connected correctly.
6.
Calibrate the device. See

7.
Install the covers on the device, the CEPH unit and the 3D sensor. See
OP 3D Installation manual
for more instructions.
8.
Attach the supplied secondary collimator type label to the bottom of the PAN/3D Tubehead cover.
9.
Do the acceptance tests to the device. See

for more instructions.
10.
Do all final inspections and tests to the decive. See
OP 3D Installation manual
for more
instructions.
11.
Instruct the user to get the latest
OP 3D User manual
from
