As per specification the pressure loss at the extrac-
tion point 7 should not exceed 15%, thus 12 bar. To
reduce the pressure loss, the nominal width of the
pipe is enlarged in the locations with large pressure
losses and the calculation is performed once again.
From diagram 2: Pressure loss for 100 m of piping DN
25 at 4,750 l/h = 4.5 bar.
Conversion to 35 m:
4.5 bar x 35 m / 100 m = 1.60 bar
Pressure loss on section 3 - 2 is:
1.60 bar
