When planning HDC installations many important
factors must be considered. The following guidelines
and regulations must be observed upon planning and
installation:
VDMA standard sheet 24416, fixed high-pressure
cleaning systems...
Fluid spray jets VBG ZH 1/406
DIN 1988 drinking water line systems...
For the selection of the suitable HDC units the num-
ber of simultaneously used extraction points, the re-
quired water volume per extraction point as well as
the required pressure range is important.
A successful project execution from the planning up
to the implementation is a decisive factor for the cus-
tomer's satisfaction! Chapter 6 was structured in ac-
cordance with the individual, consecutive project
phases as a guideline.
It is therefore advisable to settle the following points
one by one for the planning of the complete system:
Prior to beginning the planning of the line network, it
is important to collect all required information for the
determination of the suitable high-pressure supply
unit. The HDC questionnaire (see excerpt) is a useful
basis.
In general, it must be specified prior to the planning
how many people will be cleaning simultaneously, as
the water volume and thus the selection and size of
the HD plant depend on it.
Note
For a hand lance a delivery rate of at least 650 l/h is
required. A delivery rate of 1,000 l/h is recommend-
ed.
For further possibilities of the delivery rate see config-
uration list.
