The engine of the pumps is equipped with a winding
protection contact. If the engine becomes too hot, this
contact will be triggered. In addition to this, the engine
protection switch for the respective pump is moni-
tored. If one of these components triggers, the re-
spective pump will no longer be activated. The
system will work in emergency mode with the remain-
ing pumps. The respective fault code will appear on
the display.

1 Errow code
2 Number of currently present faults
A respective list of fault codes and their meaning is
listed in the chapter "Fault Codes".
If one of the above faults occurs, the device can be
restarted after the fault has been corrected by activat-
ing the "ON" switch.
The 40 most recently occurred faults are saved with
the respective date and time and can be shown on
the display.

The run time of the high-pressure pump is deter-
mined and saved. The current value of the pumps is
shown alternatingly when the device is in ready
mode. Otherwise, the respective value can be shown
on the display via the "Service" menu.
These values cannot be reset. When an electronic
component is replaced, this data will no longer be
available or all data will be reset to its original values.
A service interval can be preset for each pump incl.
the prepressure pump via the menu display. Once
the run time of one of the pumps has reached the ser-
vice point, a respective message will appear on the
display. Once the service has been performed, the
service counter on the display menu can be reset
If the system is not in ready mode, every single pump
can be switched on or off manually via the "Service"
menu on the display.
Manual operation can only be activated while the sys-
tem is not in ready mode.
The output of the prepressure pump is addressed for
5 seconds as soon as the ON key is pressed. This al-
lows the connection of an external feed pump parallel
to the prepressure pump.
The display of the HDC standard series is basically
used to display the respective operating status. The
following functions are integrated:
–
Display of the pump operating hours
–
Setting parameters upon startup
–
Displaying system values (pressure, tempera-
ture...)
–
Manual pump operation
–
Displaying present fault messages
–
Displaying saved faults
The different functions are saved in menus. The nav-
igation within the menus takes place via the <, >, OK
and ESC keys.
