Resid. current shutdown
AFI shutdown: Residual current is too high, the
integrated AC/DC-sensitive residual current
device has registered an unduly high leakage
current to the PE.
Check PE cabling;
the cause is gener-
ally faulty cabling to
earth. Often occurs
during rainfall in the
case of faulty
cabling. Measure
the insulation resist-
ance of the system.

Generator insulation fault
There is an insulation fault on the PV gener-
ator. The feed-in was interrupted.
Measurement of
the insulation resist-
ance using suitable
measuring equip-
ment by trained
personnel. Possible
cause: 1. Insulation
fault present on DC
side. 2. Defects in
the DC installation
3. Inappropriate
threshold value set
in the parameters
menu. Limit value
for insulation resist-
ance can be set to
min. 40 kOhm. With
a setting below 200
kOhm, an AFI of
type B must be used
with a required ex-
ternal AFI! An insu-
lation resistance
<200 kOhm should
not occur with crys-
talline modules.
With thin layer
modules, this can
occur in extreme
cases. Default set-
ting value is 200
kOhm.

Active ramp limitation
Internal ramp limiting, e.g.: "Ramp Up" 10 %/
Min • After an overvoltage has been detected,
for example, the device limits its output and
slowly ramps up again (RampUp).
The "Feed-in" LED
flashes for the dura-
tion of the device
start-up.

Voltage trans. fault
Current and voltage measurement in the
device are not plausible.
Switch off the
device entirely
(switch off AC + DC
for min. 5 minutes),
if the fault occurs
again, contact the
service department
