NTP Setup
Set NTP synchronization. See
Figure 21
.
To enable/disable NTP time synchronization:
1.
Select the checkbox to enable NTP; de-select it to disable NTP.
2.
Click Apply to complete enabling NTP, Cancel to revert to existing configuration.
3.
Click Save at the top of the page to make changes persistent across reboots.
NTP servers
Manage existing NTP servers. See
Figure 21
.
To manage NTP servers:
1.
For each configured NTP server view this information:
•
Server—IP address of the NTP server.
•
Status—Whether or not the server is currently in use.
•
Stratum—The hierarchical system this NTP server uses.
•
Offset (ms)—Whether or not an offset (a degree in milliseconds of difference) of the
server’s time is configured.
•
Reference Clock—How the NTP server is finding its reference (base) clock; INIT
means this is configured in the /etc/init.d directory.
•
Poll Interval (sec.)—How often the server exchanges information with its configured
reference clocks.
•
Last response (sec.)—When the last response from the reference clock was
received.
•
NTP version—The configured version of NTP.
2.
Select a server and Remove Selected Server, Enable Server, or Disable Server.
3.
Click Save at the top of the page to make changes persistent across reboots.
Add New NTP Server
Add additional NTP servers for redundancy. See
Figure 21
.
To add a new NTP server:
1.
Enter a Server IP address. Select a Version from the drop-down list and Yes or No from
the Enabled drop-down list to enable or disable the NTP server. Click Add NTP Server.
2.
Click Save at the top of the page to make changes persistent across reboots.
