The refueling kit supplied by JS includes the following:
1. Refueling/De-fueling kit box
2. Fuel Hose 1 (Quick connector fitting at only one end)
3. Fuel Hose 2 (Quick Connector fitting at both ends)
Refueling is performed as follows:
1. Ensure that the fuel tank vent hole is clear. This is done by
visually inspecting the vent hole. The hole is located at the
bottom of the fuselage, the second hole behind the wheel box.
2. Connect
Fuel Hose 1
(Quick connector fitting at only one end)
to the
IN
connector (As labeled on Refueling Kit). The other
end of this hose is then connected to the fuel supply source.
3. Connect
Fuel Hose 2
(Quick Connector fitting at both ends)
to
the
OUT
connector (As labeled on Refueling Kit). The other
end of this hose is then connected to the refueling/de-fuelling
quick connector located on the left side of the engine box.
4. Connect the power source. The refueling/de-fuelling kit is
equipped with a 12V power source connection. Connect the
glider’s battery 1, 2, or tail battery to power the kit.
5. Switch the refueling/de-fuelling kit to the ON position to start
refueling. When the tanks are full (determined by visual
inspection of top tank) or the desired amount of fuel has been
dispensed, the refueling/de-fuelling kit can be switched OFF
and disconnected.
