► Should the temperature control system fail
(memory loss, sensor failure, connection failure,
etc.) the boiler heating element will heat the
water without control and, therefore, the brass
cover walls. To prevent the temperature from
reaching dangerous levels, there is a bimetal
bipolar thermostat affixed to the back of the
boiler with two screws. This sensor is adjusted
to 120 °C (248 °F) and puts the machine out of
service when the boiler metal walls reach this
temperature. This sensor can be reset manually
by pressing the red button. To do this, open the
brewing assembly door by removing the screw
that holds it in place and you will be able to
access the reset button.

► If the temperature of the water in the boiler is more than 10 °C (50 °F) below working
temperature, the machine will not serve any drinks.
You should take into account that, when you first start the machine up or when the water
circuit has been emptied for maintenance or other reasons, the heating element will not
begin to heat up the water until the air-break is full.
During the initial setup of the machine or when the boiler has been emptied for
maintenance purposes, it is essential to ensure that the boiler is filled, either
automatically, using any of the machine’s available systems, or manually by carrying out
a manual washing operation. To ensure it is completely full, you should check that water
comes out through any of the product delivery elbows in the rotating arm.
The pressure boiler is located at the back of the cabinet. If you need to access it, follow
these steps:
► Remove the screws that hold the back cover of the cabinet and remove the cover.
► This way you can easily access the pressure boiler to carry out any work.
If you need to remove the boiler, disconnect all cables feeding the solenoid valves, the
heating element (through the safety klixon) and all the other control elements.
Disconnect the water circuit silicon tubes leading to the boiler and loosen the self-tapping
screw that joins the boiler to the espresso assembly and remove the boiler.
