IMPORTANT:
When you have removed the brewing assembly for cleaning or other
purposes, when you are going to put the assembly in place again you should place it so
that the plate that joins the moving wheel and the infusion chamber so it can move
coincides with the arrow that appear on the cover of the coffee assembly (this way, the
cam that moves the assembly will coincide with the driving wheel). Otherwise, the
brewing assembly may get stuck and the machine will be left out of service.
It is also important that the infusion chamber and brewing chamber O-rings be properly
maintained and replaced whenever a loss in brewing pressure is detected.
Brewing assembly gasket and sprinkler replacement
Release the top outlet assembly (1) by removing 4 screws (11) and pull out two pivots
from the brewing assembly (12). To replace the sprinkler (9) you only need to remove the
screw (10). You can also easily remove the O-ring (8).
To access the O-rings (5) release the compressor piston clamp (2) by turning it and
applying enough strength to prevent the spring (3) that is inside from coming out.
Remove the shaft (4) and then replace the O-rings (5).
The brewing chamber assembly top outlet assembly (14) can removed from the brewing
assembly (12) by removing two circlips (13) and loosening the screws that are closest to
be able to pull out the shaft and the yellow nut.
Once you have removed this assembly (14) you can start by pulling the piston
attachment rod (23) using a suitable flathead screwdriver. This releases the piston
support (22) to remove the spring (21). Remove the shaft holding plate (20) and the two
shafts (17) in order to remove the washer (19) and O-ring (18).
The O-ring (8) can be replaced once you have removed the brewing chamber piston
shaft (15). Change the sprinkler (9) by removing the screw (10) and replacing it with a
spare sprinkler.
To change the O-ring (5) that is housed in the water inlet pipe, remove the brewing
chamber clamp (24) by rotating it, and replace the gasket with a new one.
Make sure that you do not loose the closure O-ring on the lower part of the de la brewing
chamber when removing the plunger.
There are various aspects that have an influence on obtaining good espresso coffee
which should be taken into account when operating the machine. These factors are:
