DISASSEMBLY
Before maintaining brakes, when the axle is installed on the
vehicle, follow all safety instructions in the Original Equip-
ment Manufacturer (OEM) manual that came with the vehi-
cle.
FIGURE 1: Remove electronic sensor (1), if fitted.
FIGURE 2: Loosen the two nuts and remove lubrication tube
(2).
FIGURE 3: Remove nut (3), o-ring (4) and flange (5).

NOTE:
If disassembly is awkward, heat nut (3) about 176 F°
(80C°).
FIGURE 4: Loosen screws (6) in an alternate and criss-cross
method until the action of Belleville washers (11) becomes
null. Remove screws (6) and spring washers (7) of cover (8).
FIGURE 5: Pull out cover (8), shims (9) separating ring (10)
and Belleville washers (11).
NOTE:
Take note of the assembly direction of: shims (9) and Bel-
leville washers (11).
FIGURE 6: Slowly introduce compressed air through the nega-
tive brake connection point in order to extract the piston (12).
