Preclusion of damage
Insofar as the customer asserts any rights related to a defect in the unit based
on the legal warranty and/or guarantee, the following shall apply: The warran-
ty and guarantee do not cover wear parts such as low-pressure lamps (tubes)
or consumables (aroma) or acrylic glass panels.
Furthermore, wooden components are only covered by a limited warranty and
guarantee because they are a natural product with natural differences and
deviations. For this reason, the following cannot be accepted as defects:
The shape of wooden rings and knots
The colour and tone of wood
Natural textures or knot content
Natural shrinkage or swelling when absorbing or emitting moisture
Slight twisting
Cracking
Any dry cracks
Resin flow
Unevenness in the wood.
Should the product contain faults, JK-International is entitled and obligated to
repair or replace the product at its own discretion. Where it is not possible to
repair or replace the product, the customer may withdraw from the purchase
agreement or reduce the purchase price by a suitable amount.
The warranty period is two years from delivery or from acceptance, if an ac-
ceptance process is required. This does not affect the rights of the customer
under the existing warranty with regard to any claims that the customer might
have in accordance with the contract of purchase.
