longest bar

Ensure the brakes of the scanner are engaged
(see “Brakes” on page 12)

Place the configured scanner on the scan surface
(Fig. 92)

TIP:
Use caution when placing equipment on the scan surface. The magnetized wheels
can cause the assembly to lurch towards the metal suddenly.

Lower probe holders to scan surface
(see “Vertical Probe Holder” on page 14)

release both brakes to begin scanning procedure.
