The handle is removable to achieve low profile scanning.
To remove the handle:
Lift the handle lock latch

. Pivot the handle
down
(Fig. 155)
and then pull
the handle up to remove
from the drive module
(Fig. 156)
.
To reinstall the handle,
reverse the preceding steps.
