Connecting your computer to a network 

To access a network: 

™

 At the office, you need to install a network card in one of the PC Card slots. For   

specific information about connecting to the LAN or WAN, consult your network 
administrator. 

™

 While you are at home or traveling, you need a dial-up connection. Ask your   

network administrator for the telephone number of the network. 

To set up the connection, use the Dial-Up Networking Wizard:
