Coat the threads of new† reamer bolts

with JCB
Threadlocker and Sealer, and the reamer surfaces with a
thermal seizure prevention lubricant. Progressively and
evenly tighten the reamer bolts to seat the holding
flange

evenly with bearing

. Finally tighten each bolt
to a torque of 348.2 - 475.7 Nm (257 - 351 lbf ft).
†Note:
If the original reamer bolts must be re-used:
a
Use a wire brush to remove all traces of old locking
compound from the threads.
b
If necessary, clean up and renovate the under surface of
the bolt head using an oil stone. Thoroughly degrease
afterwards.
