Solenoid Valve (1- 4)
Dismantling the Solenoid Valve (1-4)
Note
: The sleeve

, the spools

and the body

are
clearance packed separately, the position of the the solenoid

is decided by the identifying colour of the connection
section. This must be checked during dismantling.

Remove the hex socket bolt

Remove the solenoid coil

. Care must be taken not to
lose the push rod.

Remove the o-ring

Remove the spools

. Remove the spool by
inserting a scraper bar onto the small hole in the spool
head.

Remove the sleeve

. The sleeve should be removed
as a sub-assembly including the plain washer

spring

and the stopper

Cleaning / Inspection
1
Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2
Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3
Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4
Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Assembling the Solenoid Valve (1-4)

Install the spools

to the sleeve

Install the sleeve to the body.

Install the ‘O’ ring

to the solenoid coil

. Install the
‘O’ ring to the solenoid coil to avoid damaging the ‘O’
rings.

Install the solenoid coil

to the body

Note:
Confirm that the push pin is inside the solenoid coil.
Care must be taken to avoid dropping the push pin
during assembly.

Refit the hex. socket bolts

.
Torque tighten to 3.92 Nm (2.89 lbf ft).
Optional Solenoid Valve
Dismantling the Optional Solenoid Valve (1-4)
Note:
This is the dismantling procedure during the operating
of the optional solenoid valve.

Remove the hex. socket bolts

Remove the plate

Remove the stopper

and the ‘O’ ring

Cleaning / Inspection
1
Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.
2
Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.

Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4
Replace the springs if they are damaged, deformed or
worn.
5
Replace all used ‘O’ rings with new before assembly.
6
Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
