Relief Valves
Dismantling the Relief Valve
1
Remove the overload relief valves (49, 52).

Remove the main relief valve (48).
Cleaning / Inspection
1
Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.

Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.
3
Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
Installing the Relief Valve
1
Insert the overload relief valve (52) Boom 1 down and
(49).
Torque tighten to 59 - 69 Nm (43.5 - 50.8 lbf ft).
