Cap Section
Dismantling the Cap Section
1
Loosen the plug (60) of each pilot port (not PA and PB)
and remove the spring (59) and poppet (58)
Note:
It is unnecessary to disassemble plug PT1/8 (43) if
there is no leakage.
Cleaning / Inspection

Clean the dismantled parts with a coating of clean oil.

Dry with compressed air. Place each part on a clean
sheet of paper or vinyl for inspection.

Verify that all sliding parts move easily.
4
Replace the springs if they are damaged, deformed or
worn.
5
Replace all used O-rings with new before assembly.
6
Check that there is no foreign matter in any passages or
grooves.
7
After removing the cap and plug, Check that there is no
paint residue around the body socket on the edge
surface of the plug. Any remaining paint would cause
contamination, which is the main source of malfunction
or oil leakage.

Issue 1
Control Valve
Assembling the Cap
1
Install the poppet (58) and the spring (59) to each pilot
port (not ports PA and PB). Install the plug (60) and
apply adhesive to the screw thread.
Torque tighten to 8.8 - 10.8 Nm (6.5 - 8 lbf ft).

Install the O-ring (11) to the groove in the cap (13, 14).
3
Install the caps (13, 14) and tighten the socket head
bolts (40, 41, 42).
Torque tighten to 8.8 - 10.8 Nm (6.5 - 8 lbf ft).
