6.1 Repair on mechanical parts
Loosened screw connections must always be tightened.
Only use original spare parts as listed in the spare parts list in the annex.
If safety equipment and devices have to be disassembled then these must be
reinstalled and checked immediately after completion of the repair work.
It is forbidden to make any changes whatsoever to the foundation, and espe-
cially to the drive unit.
It is forbidden to make any changes whatsoever to the control cabinet and to
the electrical installation.
It is forbidden to remove protective equipment and tread plates.
It is forbidden to make any changes or manipulations whatsoever to the
footswitch.
6.2 Repair of electrical parts
Repairs may only be carried out to electrical parts by a trained electrician. This
trained person must work compliant to the specified regulations or current state of
technology.
During all repair work on the electrical component, a visible
disconnection point between the mains and the welding bench
must be ensured by pulling the mains plug.
The welding bench must be marked by a warning sign on the
main system switch.
Only original spare parts should be used.
The circuit diagram of the welding bench in the annex of the operating in-
structions is binding and must be studied.
No changes must be made that deviate from the enclosed
circuit diagram.
It is forbidden to make changes or manipulations to the
footswitch.
Any modification impairs the safety function of the welding
bench. Any consequential damages to life and limb of per-
sons, animals or damage to property resulting therefrom are
the sole responsibility of the person who has made such
modifications.
Defects must be remedied immediately.
The following points must be checked by the operator at periodic
intervals:
Cable for damage and pinching
Footswitch for correct function of the rocker switch (reset to
neutral position by spring)
If a cable is damaged or pinched then it must be immediately re-
placed by a trained electrician!
