Replace battery:
However, the battery should be replaced after this as quickly
as possible. To replace a battery, reach between the two re-
cesses on the left and right of
the device to release the
small front lid labelled “FI-
AMA” from the device. Pull
out the battery holder to re-
place the batteries in their
correct positions of polarity.
Attention: Insert the batter-
ies in the orientation shown on the base of the battery
compartment otherwise the position display may be dam-
aged due to malfunctions.
Without batteries, the device switches off. However, the current values remain stored:
in this condition, it is not recommended to rotate the shaft because in this case the
value can not be counted. The device switches itself back on once the new batteries
are inserted and displays the value that was valid before the batteries were replaced.
If the shaft has turned for any reason then the equipment must be recalibrated.

5.1.2 R
emedying a mechanical fault
Responsible: instructed personnel
The operating personnel must be trained by Jansen or its representatives for this
task.
Mechanical damages may only be remedied by industrial mechanics or service per-
sonnel.
Spare parts must comply with the technical requirements speci-
fied by the manufacturer. Only original spare parts should be
used.
