Important:
As soon as the headset is con setup, a reset must be performed on the
OptiPoint, for the EHS function to be taken over.
An optional headset button can be installed over the phone menu (combination: *91>Select
button > Change Button > Headset > OK).

How do I set my Jabra headset as the default headset in Cisco Jabber?
Prerequisites
Jabra Direct
If you are using a version of Cisco Jabber that is earlier than 9.6 and want to use call control, you
need to install Jabra Direct and select Cisco as the default softphone. Install the Cisco Jabber
client, and then use the following steps:
1.
Install Jabra Direct.
2.
If you have a Jabra wireless headset with a base, connect the base to your computer. If
you have a corded Jabra headset, connect to an available USB port on your computer.
3.
Follow the onscreen setup guide.
4.
When you are prompted, select Cisco as the softphone.
5.
When the setup is complete, the headset is ready to use.
6.
Open Cisco Jabber.
