Tilt the instrument to remove used batteries.
4.
The new batteries must be inserted positive (+) pole first, by slightly tilting the device to
prevent shocks.
5.
Re-install the battery printed circuit board.
6.
If necessary (but recommended any time the main battery package is replaced) replace
the backup battery in its small separate box.
