If the user enables one of the two channels (IIF, CIF) on transponder / responder
mode, the PINGER ON mode will be automatically inhibited.
•
On telecommand reception, the transponder transmits a CAF acknowledgement pulse
(CAF: Common Acknowledgement Frequency).
•
The CAF is NMEA programmable: tonal frequency between 7.5 and 18 kHz by
increments of 0.5kHz (12 kHz by default) or M-FSK code (code 22 by default).

After a release operation, a second CAF pulse is transmitted. It is spaced out by at
least 3 s the execution time of the motor operation (3 to 7 s).
