field is comprised between 1 and 31

The
Status…
sub-routine transmits the command requesting transponder status through
serial link. Then, after receipt of transponder response, it will up-date the main dialogue
box of the programming module.
The
Address reading…
sub-routine transmits the command requesting transponder
status through serial link, for the single purpose of retrieving the address of the connected
transponder in order to directly aim at the connected transponder, in the main dialogue
box of the programming module.
The
Load
sub-routine transmits all the commands taken into account in this module, in
order to perform complete programming of the connected transponder (this function
transmits NMEA 0183 commands through serial link exclusively).
The
Release
sub-routine transmits an acoustic transponder order to the transponder.
The
Reset…
sub-routine transmits the acoustic reset command. This command is aimed
at loading in the transponder memory the reference file which was factory stored in the
EEPROM of the Transponder.
For safety considerations, a dialogue box will open to ask the operator to confirm the
operation.
