Before replacement
Stop the pump operation.
Close the suction line.
Open the drain valve to release liquid out of the discharge line.
NOTE
Open the valve gradually. Chemicals may be purged if the
discharge line pressure maintains the higher pressure than the
atmospheric pressure.
Valve set replacement
Remove pipes from the pump.
NOTE
• Be careful not to get wet with residual chemicals in piping.
• Rinse chemicals or crystals off the parts as necessary.
• The valve set may come down as the suction pipe is removed. Take care not to drop it.
