8.1 Troubleshooting the electrical system

Check the cables to and from the
motor for the following:
- Cable undamaged.
- Cable correctly connected to motor.
- Cable connector correctly installed
and intact.

- 1st acoustic signal when
disconnected from power
supply OR the emergency
stop is activated. The sys-
tem switches to battery
mode and the wings will
stop moving and stay in
current position.
- 2nd acoustic signal after
20 min.
- 3rd acoustic signal after
40 min.
- After 60 min the system
switches to low battery
error (E04).
Connect to power supply
AND / OR
deactivate the emergency stop to
charge and check the battery (refer
to chapter Maintenance for further
information).

- 1st acoustic signal when
the battery is detected to
be low while in battery
mode.
- Further acoustic signals
occur every 20 min until
the system turns off to
save battery power for
one CPR lowering.
System can
not be turned
on
Although the system is
connected to power supply
it can not be turned on.
Check if the emergency stop is
activated and deactivate if necessary.
Press the ON/OFF button to reset an ERROR and try again.
Contact your dealer or Invacare representative if the above does not solve your problems.
