Distinctive Ringing
Distinctive ring tones can be selected allowing adjacent users to tell
which phone is ringing. Distinctive Ringing is set per phone and is
for external calls only. You can change the ring tone of any phone
through the LCD menu. Ring tones are named for various countries
and the ring tones emulate the sound of a ringing phone in that
country..
To set Distinctive Ringing from the Desk Phone
1.
Press the CONFIG button under the display
2.
Use the DOWN arrow of the navigation pad to scroll to
RING.
3.
Press the
Key.
4.
“Ring Tone:” will be displayed. Scroll to the country tone
you wish to set
5.
Press the
Key.
6.
You will be returned to the previous menu
Inbound Caller ID
Two levels of Call ID are available. By default the phone number of
the caller (providing it is not a blocked call) will be displayed on the
ringing desk phone.
Optionally, you may purchase Caller ID Name and Number. If you
have purchased this optional service, the name of the caller and
phone number will scroll across the second line of the Desk
Phone’s LCD screen. The information will continue to scroll until the
phone has been answered.
Note
You must purchase Caller ID with Name as an optional feature in
order to see the caller’s name displayed on your phone.
