13. Warranty
In addition to our General Terms and Conditions, your AKTIVLINE basic model
comes with a
2
-year warranty from the date of purchase. Defective or damaged
parts shall be repaired or replaced free of charge during the warranty period.
The warranty shall exclude design-related modifications.
We shall accept no liability in the case of damages associated with our product
in combination with third-party products of any kind, which may involve signifi-
cant risks, unless said products have been expressly approved by our company.
The warranty shall also exclude any defects occurring as the result of normal
wear, excessive stress, deliberate damage, as well as misuse.
Warranty obligations shall cease to apply if original interco replacement parts are
not used for repairs and if repairs and modifications are not performed by interco.
It is not permissible to make additions or modifications to the AKTIVLINE basic
model care system by parties other than the manufacturer and any cases that
should become known shall be subject to legal action. Likewise, the warranty
obligations of interco GmbH shall cease to apply in such cases and any liability
claims directed at the manufacturer shall no longer be valid.
The continuous use of your AKTIVLINE basic model may result in loose screws,
nuts, and spokes. Re-tighten these at periodic intervals or arrange to have this
done by your local dealer or interco.
