3. Intended use / Field of application
When supplying children with seat units and modular seating systems, undercar-
riages for indoor and/or outdoor use are compulsory. They increase the mobility
and make the transport of the insured person possible. Therefore, the purpose
of all undercarriages – in particular AKTIVLINE basic model – always is the
reception of a seat unit.
4. Equipment / Options
The AKTIVLINE basic model will be delivered to you factory-assembled (usually
through your local dealer). In order to ensure that your AKTIVLINE basic model is
a reliable partner for you, please make sure to observe the following instructions.

Adapter system
Thanks to the seat adapter system
the entire seat shell can be easily
removed from the undercarriage.
The seat shell is mounted to the
undercarriage, which is similar to
the MINY seat shell undercarriage
by interco GmbH, by means of an
adapter system (Fig.
1
). This system
consists of a support block, which
is mounted to the underside of the
shell, and the adapter bracket,
which pivots and is connected to the
undercarriage. The adapter is se-
curely locked using a spring-loaded
catch mechanism, which snaps into
the adapter bracket. Always make
sure that the spring-loaded catch
mechanism is securely engaged
at all times. If you should discover
that the spring-loaded catch mech-
anism has become loose, then re-tighten it with an appropriate tool until the shell
is securely positioned on the undercarriage. The support block on the back of
the seat shell is securely connected to the back bracket of the undercarriage by
means of a mounting lever (Fig.
