Before playing a DVD in Media Center, you must enter your CD key in the CyberLink PowerDVD
program. In addition, to enable DVD-Audio playback, after entering your CD key and restarting, Pow-
erDVD will automatically connect to the Internet and obtain a CPPM key code (Content Protection for
Prerecorded Media), so make sure it’s possible to connect to the Internet before starting PowerDVD.
Step 12: Activate PowerDVD
You’ll Need:
• PowerDVD CD key (attached to the last page of this manual)
• Internet access

On the Media Center Start menu, click DVD Audio.
PowerDVD starts.
You can also start PowerDVD from the Windows
®
desktop. Click the
Start
button, click
All
Programs
, and then click
PowerDVD
.

Use the keyboard or the remote controller’s number buttons to enter the CD key.
Your CD key is attached to the last page of this manual.
You will be asked to enter the CD key only the very first time you start PowerDVD.

Click Activate.

Repeat step 1 and restart PowerDVD to obtain a CPPM key code.
PowerDVD automatically connects to the Internet to obtain a CPPM key code.
