Automatic reset
In order to prevent a faulty login state of the INSYS GSM small 2.0 in case of infra-
structure changes of the GSM network (software updates of the databases, tempo-
rary network extensions e.g. for trade fairs), the device should be logged out and in
again or shut down and restarted and initialised periodically.
Configuration with HSComm
In order to enable the automatic reset, check on the "Basic settings" tab
in the "system monitoring" panel the "software reset" checkbox and en-
ter the time in hours that must expire before a reset is to be executed.
Configuration with AT commands
In order to configure an automated reset,
use the command

After the configured time has expired following a restart, the INSYS GSM
small 2.0 will be reset. The configured functions are also processed after
this reset, which is indicated at the serial interface accordingly.
