For example, to block the PCs connected to
the MTA 3328-2R’s LAN port from
connecting to
www.yahoo.com
, select the
Restricted radio button, and enter
www.yahoo.com
in the text box.
If you selected the
Allowed Only
radio
button, enter a single domain name in each
text box for the only domains you would like
to allow.
For example, to grant users access to
www.yahoo.com
ONLY (no other Web
sites), select the
Allowed Only
radio button,
and enter
www.yahoo.com
in the text box.
7. Click
the
Save
button to save the settings.
NOTE: All settings changes made on
the Domain Filtering page will apply
globally to all PCs connected to the
MTA 3328-2R’s LAN port.
DHCP Server
The MTA 3328-2R has a DHCP Server function that
assigns IP addresses to a PC or PCs connected to the
MTA 3328-2R’s LAN port. It is recommended that you
retain the default settings for the DHCP server.
By default, the MTA 3328-2R assigns IP addresses in
the range of 192.168.99.100 to 192.168.99.199. To
change the range of IP addresses assigned, enter the
lowest and highest IP addresses in the appropriate
fields. See the instructions below.
To configure the DHCP Server function:
1. From a PC connected to the MTA 3328-2R’s
LAN port, open a Web browser and connect to
the MTA 3328-2R Web Management tool.
2. In the sidebar menu, click the
Router
Settings
link, and then click the
DHCP Server
link.
The Configure DHCP Server Information page
