Quality of Service (QoS) for Communications between
the Vesta Charger and the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini IPG

OPTIMIZER Smart Mi
ni IPG and the
Vesta Charger. The
requirements for the Quality of Service (QoS) vary
depending on the use environment (operating room,
recovery room, clinic, and home environment).
The Vesta
Charger will begin by displaying the IPG Data
Download and IPG Data Download Success screens:
After the data download has been completed, the
Charging IPG Status screen is displayed by the
Vesta
Charger:
The Coupling Level icon (
), whose number of

lluminated bars is proportional to the proximity of the
char
ging wand to the implanted OPTIMIZER Smart Mini
IPG, is indicative of the Quality of Service (QoS) for the
transcutaneous energy transmission wireless link. The
charging wand should be repositioned until at least 2 bars
of the Coupling Level icon are illum
inated, indicating
sufficient QoS for charging the OPTIMIZER Smart Mini
IPG.
