Getting Started with SNP Manager

When reboot is complete, a command prompt window opens with a login prompt.

Configuring Host PC VirtualBox NIC

The default IP address for the SNP Manager is

192.168.1.11

. In order to reach the SNP Manager

configuration UI, you need to make sure that the IP address of the VirtualBox host-only network adapter
is on the same subnet as the default IP address of the SNP Manager VM.

The following steps describe how to accomplish the above on a Windows PC.

Choose

Start

Control Panel

Network and Sharing Center

Click

Change adapter settings

in the panel at the left of the screen.

The

Network Connections

window opens.

Right-click

VirtualBox Host-Only Network

and select

Properties

In the

Properties

dialog, Select

TCP/IPv4 configuration

Configure the VirtualBox Host-only NIC IP address and subnet mask to the default settings:
IP address: 192.168.1.20
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Click

and exit the

Configuration

window.

At this point, if you open a Command Line window and ping the SNP Manager VM at its default IP, you
should get a response.
