Using SDNO with SNP

Proxy is only available on the first link in any group of connectors. You can only have eight
proxies per SNP no matter whether UHD or HD (where you could have a maximum of 32
transmitters but only 8 proxies).
The
First #
to
Last #
should match the Video setting.

For each
Mono Audio
source, make the same selections, with the following difference:

(field far to the right of the dialog box, replacing Video): For the
First #
and
Last #
fields
you might select 1 and 16 for example to increment the audio across 16 channels. You need to
link the audio elsewhere in SDNO in order to see the audio advance sequentially; see your SDNO
documentation for more information.

For each
Data
source, make the same selections, with the following difference:
Data

might select 1 and 4 for example to increment the data across 4 channels. You need to link the data
channels elsewhere in SDNO in order to see it advance sequentially; see your SDNO documentation
for more information.

Click
Add Rows
to close the
Add Sources
dialog box.
The Sources pane of the Database Editor populates with the rows you have created.

Select the Destinations tab and repeat
steps 10 - 17

Click
Save
in the Database Editor, and then close SDNO.
19.
In Magellan CCS Navigator, reopen (double-click)
DBEditor
for your routing system.
The sources and destinations you have created should appear as rows on the Sources and
Destinations tabs.
20.
Click Publish to commit your changes.
21.
To check that your routing is correct,
a.
On the SNP Manager, select a Processor, Section, and Program, and click to open the
Configuration window. On the x tab, scroll down to the Status section.
b.
On the SDNO softpanel, and with the SNP Manager open, select a source and a destination and
Take.
c.
In the SNP Manager, the status updates to recognize the change.
You can also view the SNP monitor output to view the change.
Note:
When routing from one source to multiple destinations in one operation on the same processor
from the control panel, routing is processed sequentially. It can take a few seconds for the operation to
complete.
