Concerning the usable port
When distributing video/sound via a router, please set the port forward or firewall to enable
communications with RTSP and RTP/RTCP. For the configuration, please refer to the manual of
the router you use.
The usable port varies depending on the conditions.

UDP unicast distribution
For distribution with unicast, use a port with the range of [unicast port]~[unicast port + 60].
For example, when the unicast port is set to 10000, use a port within the range of 10000 ~
10060 of UDP.

UDP multicast distribution
For distribution with multicast, use a port within the range of [multicast port]~[multicast port + 25]
(UDP).
For example, when the multicast port is set to 10100, use a port within the range of 10100 ~
10125 of UDP.

TCP unicast distribution
For TCP unicast, video/sound is distributed with the port of RTSP in RTP over the RTSP
protocol. The set port of RTSP is used upon TCP unicast at “proxy port”.
