BS-79 0212 VOL1 (U) (E)
BS-79
7 WFM REMOTE connector
Stair signals for waveform monitoring are output.
A waveform monitor can be connected to this connector
to monitor R, G, and B waveforms simultaneously (when
the MONITOR SELECT switch on the control panel is in
the "RGB" or "SEQ" position). Time axis control signals
for R, G, and B signals are also output.
8 TALLY IN connector
Tally control signals are input from an external system.
Use the switch in the INCOM module to change the tally
mode. For details of this switch, see Section 4.4, "Setting
the Tally Mode."

*2 : When the CALL switch on the camera head is pressed, R
TALLY blinks for about 20 seconds, then goes off.
While R TALLY is blinking, pressing the CALL switch on
the control panel turns the indicator off.

9 INTERCOM connector
Connect an external intercom system to this connector.
10 QTV IN connector
QTV signal (prompter signal) to the camera head input.
11 ENC OUT connectors
NTSC ENC signal is output (two lines).
12 MCP/CCP connector
Connect an MCP/CCP control panel to this connector.
13 OCP/CCP connector
Connect an OCP/CCP control panel to this connector.
If an RCP-50 is mounted on the front panel of the BS,
however, the control panel connected to this connector
does not operate. To operate the control panel, remove
the RCP-50 from the front panel of the BS or set the
RCP ON/OFF switch to "OFF" (see Section 2.2, "Inside
of the Front").
14 HD SDI OUT connectors
HD SDI signal is output (two lines).
15 RET IN connectors
Return signals to the camera head are input (two lines).
The input signal differs depending on the module (NTSC
VBS, HD SDI, or D1 SDI).
For the RET (SD) module, bridge connection is available.
16 SYNC OUT connector
External synchronization signals are output. Use the
switch (SD/HD) to change the output signal.
17 D1 OUT connectors
Component serial digital signals (D1) are output (two
lines).
18 GENLOCK IN connectors
Synchronization signals from an external device to the
camera head (HDTV PS/S or NTSC VBS/BBS) are input.
Use the switch (SD/HD) to change the output signal.
Bridge connection is available.
19 PS/S IN connectors
Synchronization signals from an external device to the
camera head (HDTV PS/S) are input.
Bridge connection is available.
20 PM OUT connector
Video signals for picture monitoring are output.
The output signal differs depending on the module
(NTSC/HDTV).
21 WFM OUT connector
Video signals for waveform monitoring are output.
The output signal differs depending on the module
(NTSC/HDTV).
22 Component output connectors
Analog component signals are output.
For the MON (SD) module, the NTSC YCbCr or RGB
signals (switched using a switch in the module) are
output.
For the MON (HD) module, the HDTV YPbPr or RGB
signals (switched using a switch in the module) are
output.
For switching of the component signals, see Section 4.3,
"Setting the Component Signals."
